I appreciate your candor Frank. I'm guilty as charged (being dumb because I don't want to reveal my ignorance of a subject matter). I've read countless posts talking about plug color. Exactly what part of the plug are we talking about? The part in the engine where the eletrode is and the spark appears...or the white insulating portion? Which part should be a "nice brown color?"
